One-of-a-kind documentary explores the country of India by looking at how monsoons affect its citizens. Filmed over the course of India’s 2013 monsoon season, the film profiles meteorologists, farmers, fishermen, city dwellers and even bookies who take bets on the weather. Along the way, they meet a remarkable group of individuals whose lives are in different ways entwined with the phenomenon that some call ‘the soul of India’.
