Facts about environmenally responsible community lightling.

Presented by Drew Carhardt of the Coalition for Responsible Outdoor Lightling - Parking is available in the lot on Town Road. Enter the building at the main entrance (by the flag poles), across the street from the parking lot.

In the US, we consume billions of kilowatt hours of electricity each year lighting up the outdoors around our homes, businesses, towns and cities. Little attention is paid to whether we're doing that effectively and efficiently, and even less attention to the effects of artificial light has on the environment around us. This presentation is geared to raise awareness of the impact of artificial light, and present available lighting methods that are efficient, effective, and environmentally responsible Sponsored by the West Chicago Environmental Commission and Sustain DuPage
