Take a peek at Cantigny's summer plantings for the gardens! Trams will be available to transport you from the Visitors Center to the greenhouse where you can see the annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and native plants that are almost ready to make their grand entrance into the gardens.
You’ll also have the opportunity to chat with Horticulture staff should you have a nagging question about one of the plants we are growing—or even have grown in the past! In addition, we will have a variety of local horticulture-related agencies, (Midwest Fruit Explorers Club, University of IL Cooperative Extension Service Master Gardeners and College of DuPage Horticulture Program personnel have participated in past years) and very friendly horticulture volunteers that are very anxious to assist you in your “green” interests.
