The Liberty Lines is a program of authentic spirituals and folk songs, interspersed with readings from 19th century slave narratives and other primary documents, compiled by Andrew Calhoun and performed by an ensemble cast.
The history of the Underground Railroad is traced as a grassroots movement of conscience which spurred the Civil War. This is a moving, informative, ultimately uplifting show about the triumph of the human spirit.
