Katie lives in Warrenville, is 16, and attends Wheaton Warrenville South High School. She is active in the music and fine arts department at the school . She plans to be a singer and found a way to continue growing as an artist and also connect with family and friends at this time.. She start doing "Quarantine Concerts" March 21 and has done one every week since! She hosts them on Facebook and Instagram Live every Thursday at 6:55pm (actually starts at 7pm but this gives people a few minutes to log in and get there and she chats with them while waiting).
Each week's concert is a different theme and Katie sings 3 songs each time. Since the stay at home order began, she has learned/sung over 50 songs!
