Clean Energy and Transportation

Getting overloaded with all the clean energy acronyms and new clean energy policies? River Prairie Group of Sierra Club's January Zoom program will unscramble the alphabet soup. Tim Milburn, who is active on our Clean Energy and Clean Transportation Teams, will start by walking through the myriad of new international, national, state, and local goals, policies, funding plans, and incentives for clean energy, clean transportation, equity, and climate change. The conversations will then center on regional and local sustainability, climate mitigation and adaptation strategies: how new energy policies fit in, program and incentive timing, and actions people can take individually and together to move the needle on reducing climate change while saving money.
